What is BIM?
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its lifecycle. BIM involves representing a design as objects that carry their geometry, relations and attributes.
BIM allows construction professionals to explore key physical and functional characteristics of a project digitally before it’s built. Using BIM to simulate real-world performance for a better understanding of the impacts on cost, schedule and sustainability allow them to identify and resolve problems early in the design phase.
BIM is NOT a software platform, although there is software that enables BIM E.G. Autodesk Revit and Graphisoft ArchiCAD.

BIM Object Downloads
Cubicle Centre now boast a complete library of COBie compliant BIM downloads below.
BIM content includes toilet cubicles, wall panel systems and vanity units created for Cubicle Centre by Bimstore.co.uk. Their Autodesk Certified professionals have checked the Cubicle Centre BIM content and all components are ready for use in real project environments.
Cubicle Centre BIM objects are data-rich, highlight unique features such as FSC® certification, and contain parametric features that help specifiers design within the limits of the system. The result is a quicker specification process combined with correct product details throughout the whole project cycle.
